COURSES of Bookbinding
COURSE 1
Basic Bookbinding with Cloth
The course is held with a minimum of 1 participant and a maximum of 2 participants
Level: Basic
Duration: 1 week - 20 hours
Hours: 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday
Lesson 1 Presentation of the course, history of the book and name, types of binding, styles of stitching, disassembly of the book, restoration of signatures, preparation of the guard sheets, preparation for sewing.
Lesson 2 Folding of the sheets, sewing on the tape, wrapping, capital, capital application.
Lesson 3 Cutting of the blanket boxes, blind points, corners, ribs, construction of the detached deck, built-in.
Lesson 4 Folding of the sheets, preparation of the book for twine stitching, back gluing, capital on twine paper, wrapping, preparation of the blanket.
Lesson 5 Preparation of the vegetable glue, covering the half canvas, covering the full canvas, tie rods and recessed, finishing, tag.
Each student will take the book with them.
COURSE 2

The course is held with a minimum of 1 participant and a maximum of 2 participants
Level: Basic
Duration: 1 week - 20 hours
Hours: 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday

Advanced Bookbinding
The course is held with a minimum of 1 participant and a maximum of 2 participants
Level: Advanced
Duration: 1 week - 20 hours
Hours: 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday
Lesson 1 Full leather book with various squares, introduction to the tools
Lesson 2 Application of closure on leather books and closure decoration
Lesson 3 The decoration of the plates of the book and of the rib in dry and gold
Lesson 4 Leather briefcases , card holder
Lesson 5 Finishing of folder and wod of folder
The studend can take the book with him, with a contribution to the expenses.
